To get access to restricted corpora an <b>additional request form</b> must
be filled out after signing in. The request form for a corpus can be
found by clicking on the lock icon on the bottom of a search result after the sign-in. You can also find it by
clicking on the session tab of a restricted corpus.
Choose the intended purpose of the use of this corpus and give a very detailed description of the
planned use ("research" or "checking a hypothesis" will not be sufficient).
If and when the request form is accepted, you will get notified by email that the access is granted.

After you got access to a corpus you can <b>download the files</b> under the "Session" and/or "Description" and "Attached files" tab.
The "Description" tab usually specifies the files that are available. If you haven't worked with corpora before, it makes sense to download a .zip file first.
The display of the table can be adapted to hide columns that you might not be interested in.<br/>
By clicking on the "Display columns" button (see below) you get an overview of all column names, and if you click on a blue button that represents a column you can toggle its display.
Please note that the search still runs on all columns, even the ones that are not displayed.

If you want to <b>search and analyze</b> a corpus, you can do this using the program
<a target="_blank" href="http://www.exmaralda.org/pdf/EXAKT_Manual.pdf">EXAKT</a> and the .coma file. Therefore, you need to download the coma file, all
corresponding transcriptions in the EXMARaLDA format and the audio files. Note, that the transcription and audio files need to be in the same folder as
(or a subordinated of) the .coma file(see the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.exmaralda.org/pdf/Coma_Manual.pdf">Coma Documentation</a>).
